You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Oregon State University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for Physical Sciences for a Doctorate. This large school is located in Corvallis, Oregon, and it awarded 30 doctorate’s physical sciences degrees in 2020-2021.

Oregon State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Physical Sciences Doctor’s Degree Schools in Oregon” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,559 of the 32,312 students enrolled at Oregon State University were GI Bill® students, of which 1,000 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $8,385. During this same period, 17 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Oregon. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for Physical Sciences for a Doctorate list. This large school is located in Eugene, Oregon, and it awarded 31 doctorate’s physical sciences degrees in 2020-2021.

UO also made our “Best Physical Sciences Doctor’s Degree Schools in Oregon” list, coming in at #2.According to our most recent data, UO supports 21,752 students, and 582 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 314 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $11,688. To help with additional expenses, 25 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. UO does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
