Nova Southeastern University did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Criminal Justice for a Doctorate ranking, coming in at #8. NUS Florida is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 14 doctorate’s criminal justice degrees to qualified students.
In addition to being on our southeast region doctor’s degree vets studying criminal justice list, NUS Florida has also earned the #3 rank in our “Best Criminal Justice & Corrections Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 522 of the 20,888 students enrolled at Nova Southeastern University were GI Bill® students, of which 335 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $12,213. During this same period, 70 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Nova Southeastern University does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
