University of New Mexico - Main Campus has taken the #1 spot in this year's general psychology ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the large city of Albuquerque, UNM is a public school with a very large student population. UNM did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for General Psychology in New Mexico list.

The student loan default rate at UNM is lower than is typical, just 2.6% of students default in three years. Approximately 8,254 students take at least one class online at UNM. 7,459 of UNM students are attending part time.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to New Mexico State University - Main Campus. NMSU Main Campus is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Las Cruces. As a testament to the quality of education offered at NMSU Main Campus, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for General Psychology in New Mexico ranking.
