This year's Best Criminology Colleges for Non-Traditional Students in the Southeast Region ranking analyzed 14 colleges that offered a bachelor's degree in criminology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality criminology programs as well as strong support for students classified as non-traditional.

University of Florida has taken the #1 spot in this year's criminology ranking for non-traditional students. UF is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville. UF did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Criminology in the Southeast Region list.
The student loan default rate at UF is lower than is typical, just 0.9% of students default in three years. There are approximately 22,865 students at UF that take at least one class online. 11,205 students are part time.

University of South Florida - Main Campus landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best criminology schools for non-traditional students. USF Tampa is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Tampa. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, USF Tampa has also earned the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Criminology in the Southeast Region ranking.
About 1.2% of USF Tampa students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 22,899 students at USF Tampa that take at least one class online. About 13,938 of the students at USF Tampa are attending part time.

Located in the midsize city of Wilmington, UNCW is a public school with a fairly large student population. UNCW also took the #6 spot in our Best Colleges for Criminology in the Southeast Region rankings.
