Our Lady of the Lake University has taken the #1 spot in this year's social work ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the city of San Antonio, OLLU is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population. OLLU not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #7 on our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Southwest Region list.

The student loan default rate at OLLU is lower than is typical, just 1.4% of students default in three years. 980 of OLLU students are exclusively distance learners. About 319 of the students at OLLU are attending part time.

The University of Texas at Arlington comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the large city of Arlington, UT Arlington is a public college with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UT Arlington, the school also landed the #6 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Southwest Region ranking.

About 1.4% of UT Arlington students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. 17,309 of UT Arlington students are exclusively distance learners. 22,217 students are part time.

University of Oklahoma Norman Campus comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. University of Oklahoma is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized suburb of Norman. As a testament to the quality of education offered at University of Oklahoma, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Social Work in the Southwest Region ranking.

The student loan default rate at University of Oklahoma is lower than is typical, just 1.2% of students default in three years.
