Biblical Studies is the 141st most popular major in the country with 4,250 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, Biblical studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $27,768 and had an average of $24,104 in loans still to pay off.

At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,634 Biblical studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Bible Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 90 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in Biblical studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality Biblical studies programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
