Located in Dallas, Texas, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 10 degrees to qualified bachelors’s pastoral counseling students in 2020-2021.

DBU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Pastoral Counseling & Specialized Ministries Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 200 of the 4,247 students enrolled at DBU were GI Bill® students, of which 150 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $14,924. In addition to receiving other benefits, 39 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. DBU offers credit for military training for eligible students.

ORU is a small school located in Tulsa, Oklahoma that handed out 14 bachelors’s pastoral counseling degrees in 2020-2021.

ORU also made our “Best Pastoral Counseling & Specialized Ministries Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #3.According to our most recent data, Oral Roberts University supports 4,317 students, and 135 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 76 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $10,157. To help with additional expenses, 4 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Pastoral Counseling for a Bachelor’s. Southwestern Assemblies of God University is a small school located in Waxahachie, Texas that handed out 64 bachelors’s pastoral counseling degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Pastoral Counseling & Specialized Ministries Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 90 of the 1,985 students enrolled at Southwestern Assemblies of God University were GI Bill® students, of which 65 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,820. On top of their other funding sources, 2 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Southwestern Assemblies of God University does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend The King’s University. The school came in at #4 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Pastoral Counseling for a Bachelor’s. TKU is located in Southlake, Texas and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 12 bachelors’s pastoral counseling degrees to qualified students.

TKU did well in our major quality rankings, too.
