Georgia Institute of Technology - Main Campus tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Southeast Region that are best for non-traditional design & applied arts students. Located in the city of Atlanta, Georgia Tech is a public school with a very large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Georgia Tech has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southeast Region ranking.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.4%. 19,058 students at Georgia Tech are exclusively online. 21,273 students are part time.

University of Florida earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UF is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville. UF did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #5 on our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southeast Region list.

Florida State University earned the #3 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the midsize city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public school with a fairly large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Florida State has also earned the #7 rank in our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southeast Region ranking.

NC State is a very large public school located in the large city of Raleigh. NC State also took the #4 spot in our Best Colleges for Design & Applied Arts in the Southeast Region rankings.
