In 2019-2020, general visual and performing arts graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $25,134 and had an average of $26,019 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,954 general visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $26,128 and $26,925 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 212 general visual and performing arts graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,328 and $20,384 respectively.

This year’s “Most Well Attended Visual Arts Major in the Southeast Region for an Associate” ranking analyzed 19 colleges that offered a degree in general visual and performing arts. To top this list, a school must have a successful general visual and performing arts program that graduates more students in the field than other colleges that offer the same major.
