Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 94%.

Out of the 17 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Tempe, Arizona, the large public school awarded 14,829 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.

Around 10.4% of the total student population at the school is international. Students from as far away as China, India, and Saudi Arabia come to ASU - Tempe to study.

A rank of #3 on our list means The University of Texas at Austin is a great place for Egyptian students in the Southwest Region working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Austin, Texas, the large public school handed out 10,592 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
