University of Minnesota - Twin Cities tops this year’s ranking as the best school for Ukrainian students in the Plains States Region. UMN Twin Cities is a large public school situated in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It awarded 9,414 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

International students make up 10.0% of the total student body at the school. Students studying at UMN Twin Cities come from such countries as China, India, and South Korea.

The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 93%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at Iowa State University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the best schools for Ukrainian students in the Plains States Region. This large public school is located in Ames, Iowa, and it awarded 6,998 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 8.1% are international. Students from as far away as China, India, and Malaysia come to Iowa State to study.

With a freshman retention rate of 89%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Nebraska - Lincoln. The school came in at #3 in this year’s ranking. Lincoln, Nebraska is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 4,727 students in 2020-2021.

International students make up 8.4% of the total student body at the school. The top three countries sending students to study at UNL are China, Malaysia, and India.

This medium-sized private not-for-profit school is located in Saint Charles, Missouri, and it awarded 1,105 bachelor’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 7.1% are international. Students from as far away as Venezuela, Panama, and Canada come to Lindenwood University to study.

Out of the 6 schools in the Plains States Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Southeast Missouri State University landed the #5 spot on the list. Located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the medium-sized public school awarded 1,830 diplomas to qualified bachelor’s degree students in 2020-2021.

Of the total number of students at the school, 4.8% are international. The top three countries sending students to study at Southeast Missouri State University are China, India, and Saudi Arabia.
