What You’ll Find in Our Veterans Report on CF:
Colleges with a large veteran population are better equipped to support and accommodate those who have had military experience. According to the VA, there are 410 GI Bill® students at CF. Since the total enrollment at the school is 4,717, nearly 8.7% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. To put that into context, the Student Veterans of America estimates that roughly three to four percent of all U.S. college students are veterans.
The total spans all GI Bill® chapters, including Post-9/11, Montgomery, Reserve Education Assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. Active-duty military using Tuition Assistance are excluded, so the actual military population may be bigger. About 1.0% of the student body at CF, according to U.S. Department of Education figures.
