Colleges with a large veteran population are better equipped to support and accommodate those who have had military experience. The VA reports that there are 45 GI Bill® students at LMC. Because the school enrolls 1,811, around 2.5% of the student body is using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. By comparison, the Student Veterans of America reports that three to four percent of college students nationwide are veterans.
This count covers every chapter of the GI Bill® — Post-9/11, Montgomery, Reserve Education Assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It excludes active-duty military personnel attending through Tuition Assistance, so the true military population may be larger. Veteran students account for 0.8% of the student body at LMC, according to U.S. Department of Education figures.

If you have specialized military training, LMC may take that into consideration and grant college credit for it. Ask the admissions office how this applies to you. Earning credit for what you already know can save you time and money toward a degree. Check with LMC about credit for life experience, CLEP and similar exams, or other prior learning beyond military training.
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs are not available at LMC.
