When many veterans attend a school, its faculty and staff tend to be more experienced at meeting the needs of former service members. The VA reports that there are 22 GI Bill® students at UHC. Because the school enrolls 405, approximately 5.4% of students are using the GI Bill® to help pay for their education. As a benchmark, the Student Veterans of America puts the share of veteran college students nationwide at three to four percent.
All GI Bill® chapters are included here: Post-9/11, Montgomery, Reserve Education Assistance, and Veteran Readiness and Employment. It does not include any active-duty military personnel attending via Tuition Assistance, so the total military population is potentially larger.

UHC might grant college credit to those who have completed specialized military training. Check with an admissions counselor for details. Credit for prior learning can shorten your time to a degree, so it’s worth asking about. Contact UHC to find out if it grants credit for life experience, CLEP/standardized exams, or other prior learning.
Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs are not available at UHC.
