Campus & Student Life at University of the Southwest

Home to about 370 undergraduates in 2020, University of the Southwest is a very small, private university located in Hobbs, New Mexico. Students who enjoy the peace and quiet of country life may thrive in this rural setting. Freshmen Living Arrangements at University of the Southwest

University of the Southwest offers on-campus housing, but freshmen are not required to take advantage of it. In the end though, most do choose to live in the dorms.

Full-time vs. Part-time Studies at University of the Southwest

University of the Southwest has a comparatively very small, student body. There were 370 undergraduates in 2020. Full-time attendance was 300 (81.1%). Part-time attendance was 70 (18.9%).
