University of Alaska Anchorage tops the 2021 list of our schools in Alaska that are best for non-traditional accounting students. UAA is a large public school located in the city of Anchorage. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UAA, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Accounting in Alaska ranking.
The student loan default rate at UAA is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. 5,421 of UAA students are exclusively distance learners. 6,651 students are part time.
University of Alaska Fairbanks comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the suburb of Fairbanks, UAF is a public college with a medium-sized student population. UAF not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Accounting in Alaska list.
