University of Alaska Anchorage tops the 2021 list of our schools in Alaska that are best for non-traditional accounting students. UAA is a large public school located in the city of Anchorage. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UAA, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Accounting in Alaska ranking.
The student loan default rate at UAA is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. 5,421 of UAA students are exclusively distance learners. There are roughly 6,651 part time students in attendance at UAA.
University of Alaska Fairbanks comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the small suburb of Fairbanks, UAF is a public school with a medium-sized student population. UAF not only placed well in our non-traditional rankings. It is also #2 on our Best Colleges for Accounting in Alaska list.
