When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. In 2020-2021, 11,319 people earned their degree in entrepreneurial studies, making the major the 120th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 595 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,711 and $24,190 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 21 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,618 and $16,599 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Entrepreneurship for an Associate” ranking looked at 5 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in entrepreneurial studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great entrepreneurial studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Entrepreneurship for an Associate. UMaine is a public institution located in Orono, Maine. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 6 associates’s degrees in 2020-2021.
