Entrepreneurial Studies is the 120th most popular major in the country with 11,319 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $42,578 and had an average of $25,632 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 4,127 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,750 and $23,419 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 72 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,328 and $20,384 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Entrepreneurship for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in entrepreneurial studies. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great entrepreneurial studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Located in Miami, Florida, this large public school handed out 7 diplomas to qualified associates’s entrepreneurship students in 2020-2021.
MDC not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Associate Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Among the 46,523 students enrolled at Miami Dade College, 907 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Seminole State College of Florida is a public institution located in Sanford, Florida. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 11 associates’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Interactive College of Technology - Chamblee is a small school located in Chamblee, Georgia that handed out 13 associates’s entrepreneurship degrees in 2020-2021.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.
