In 2020-2021, 28,787 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 45th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,057 and had an average of $31,139 in loans still to pay off.

Across California, there were 1,824 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $55,225 and $23,952 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value HR Schools in California For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 19 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in human resource management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent human resource management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
