Human Resource Management is the 45th most popular major in the country with 28,787 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $49,057 and had an average of $31,139 in loans still to pay off.

Across Virginia, there were 489 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $51,977 and $29,390 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Virginia for HR” ranking, we looked at 8 colleges that offer a degree in human resource management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great human resource management programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Marymount University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Virginia for HR. Marymount University is a small school located in Arlington, Virginia that handed out 16 ’s HR degrees in 2020-2021.

Marymount also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 175 of the 3,294 students enrolled at Marymount University were GI Bill® students, of which 172 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,047. On top of their other funding sources, 35 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Marymount University does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Regent University is a private not-for-profit institution located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 204 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Regent also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Of the 10,483 students enrolled at Regent University, 1,414 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. GMU not only placed well in this ranking. As a testament to the quality of education offered at URichmond, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 51 of the 4,056 students enrolled at URichmond were GI Bill® students, of which 19 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
