Fort Worth, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s real estate degrees to 57 students in 2020-2021.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Southern Methodist University. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Real Estate for a Bachelor’s list. SMU is a fairly large school located in Dallas, Texas that handed out 39 bachelors’s real estate degrees in 2020-2021.

SMU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Real Estate Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Texas” list.Our most recent data shows that 327 of the 12,373 students enrolled at SMU were GI Bill® students, of which 215 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $15,612. To help with additional expenses, 103 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. SMU does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

The school has an excellent freshman retention rate of 90%, which means students like the school well enough to return for a second year.
