Syracuse University has taken the #1 spot in this year's journalism ranking for non-traditional students. Syracuse is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Syracuse. Syracuse also made our Best Colleges for Journalism in New York list, coming in at #1.

Hofstra University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the large suburb of Hempstead, Hofstra is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population. Hofstra also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Journalism in New York rankings.
