Located in the city of Chicago, Illinois Tech is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Illinois Tech, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Computer Science in Illinois ranking.

Our rankings recognize Illinois State University as the #4 school in this year's rankings. Illinois State is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Normal. Illinois State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #6 on our Best Colleges for Computer Science in Illinois list.
