The following schools top our list of the Best Information Technology Colleges for Non-Traditional Students.
Rochester Institute of Technology tops the 2021 list of our schools in New York that are best for non-traditional information technology students. Located in the large suburb of Rochester, RIT is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at RIT, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Information Technology in New York ranking.
The student loan default rate at RIT is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 9,961 students take at least one class online at RIT. About 1,867 of the students at RIT are attending part time.

Our rankings recognize Pace University - New York as the #2 school in this year's rankings. Pace University is a large private not-for-profit school located in the city of New York. Pace University also made our Best Colleges for Information Technology in New York list, coming in at #3.
