You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Central Florida. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Education for a Doctorate list. University of Central Florida is a large school located in Orlando, Florida that handed out 34 doctorate’s education degrees in 2020-2021.

UCF not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best General Education Doctor’s Degree Schools in Florida” list.Among the 71,881 students enrolled at University of Central Florida, 2,263 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,216 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $4,995. To help with additional expenses, 8 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Central Florida offers credit for military training for eligible students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Nova Southeastern University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for Education for a Doctorate list. NUS Florida is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It awarded 291 doctorate’s education degrees in 2020-2021.

NUS Florida also took the #1 spot in our “Best General Education Doctor’s Degree Schools in Florida” ranking.According to our most recent data, Nova Southeastern University supports 20,888 students, and 522 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 335 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $12,213. To help with additional expenses, 70 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
