The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Education for a Doctorate. Ames, Iowa is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out doctorate’s education degrees to 12 students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Iowa State, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best General Education Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Plains States Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 814 of the 31,822 students enrolled at Iowa State University were GI Bill® students, of which 388 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. University of Missouri - St Louis is a public institution located in Saint Louis, Missouri. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 45 doctorate’s degrees in 2020-2021.

UMSL not only placed well in this ranking.
