In 2020-2021, 327,871 education students received their degree, making the major the 4th most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $46,202 and had an average of $24,437 in loans still to pay off.

Across Kentucky, there were 5,395 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,242 and $24,972 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,851 education graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,941 and $26,734 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Kentucky for Education for a Bachelor’s” ranking analyzed 14 colleges that offered a degree in education. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent education programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
