DePaul University did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Teaching Students with Disabilities for a Master’s ranking, coming in at #23. DePaul University is a large school located in Chicago, Illinois that handed out 45 masters’s teaching students with disabilities degrees in 2020-2021.

DePaul not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #12 on our “Best General Special Education Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 528 of the 21,922 students enrolled at DePaul were GI Bill® students, of which 367 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. University of Wisconsin - Superior came in at #24 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Teaching Students with Disabilities for a Master’s ranking. Superior, Wisconsin is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s teaching students with disabilities degrees to 46 students in 2020-2021.

According to our most recent data, UW - Superior supports 2,560 students, and 99 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 47 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,761. To help with additional expenses, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Ohio University - Athens Campus landed the #25 spot on the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Teaching Students with Disabilities for a Master’s ranking. Located in Athens, Ohio, this large public school awarded 13 diplomas to qualified masters’s teaching students with disabilities students in 2020-2021.

Our most recent data shows that 726 of the 25,714 students enrolled at OHIO Athens were GI Bill® students, of which 324 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,725. To help with additional expenses, 10 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
