You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend California State University - Chico. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Modern Language Education for a Master’s list. Chico, California is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s modern language education degrees to 9 students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Chico State, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Modern Language Education Master’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 354 of the 16,746 students enrolled at Chico State were GI Bill® students, of which 166 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $5,098. During this same period, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Chico State does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
