You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Houston - Downtown. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Civil Engineering Tech for a Bachelor’s list. Houston, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s civil engineering tech degrees to 23 students in 2020-2021.

UH Downtown not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Civil Engineering Technology Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 20 of the 15,239 students enrolled at University of Houston - Downtown were GI Bill® students, of which 20 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $3,002. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
