Across the New England region, there were 2,388 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,350 and $20,625 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 742 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,618 and $16,599 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great engineering technologies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

UMass Lowell also made our “Best Engineering Technologies Associate Degree Schools in the New England Region” list, coming in at #3.Among the 18,150 students enrolled at University of Massachusetts - Lowell, 623 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 290 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,664. During this same period, 29 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Engineering Tech for an Associate list. Boston, Massachusetts is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out associates’s engineering tech degrees to 19 students in 2020-2021.

WIT also took the #4 spot in our “Best Engineering Technologies Associate Degree Schools in the New England Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, Wentworth Institute of Technology supports 4,389 students, and 136 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 71 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $14,901. To help with additional expenses, 12 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
