In 2020-2021, 85,188 people earned their degree in engineering technologies, making the major the 20th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, engineering technologies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $52,350 and had an average of $21,560 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 9,275 engineering technologies graduates with average earnings and debt of $62,188 and $23,358 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Engineering Tech” ranking, we looked at 24 colleges that offer a degree in engineering technologies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality engineering technologies programs as well as strong veteran support.
