In 2020-2021, 17,987 people earned their degree in computer engineering, making the major the 56th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $73,143 and had an average of $24,685 in loans still to pay off.

Across the New England region, there were 1,743 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $79,736 and $25,406 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value CE Schools in the New England Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 19 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
