In 2019-2020, chemical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $65,870 and had an average of $23,285 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 2,548 chemical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $69,096 and $23,693 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Chem Eng” ranking analyzed 32 colleges that offered a degree in chemical engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great chemical engineering programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
