You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Texas Christian University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Engineering for a Bachelor’s list. TCU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Fort Worth, Texas. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 45 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our texas bachelor’s degree vets studying engineering list, TCU has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best General Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Texas” ranking.Of the 11,379 students enrolled at Texas Christian University, 520 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 405 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $23,096. On top of their other funding sources, 343 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Out of the 3 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Engineering for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Texas at El Paso landed the #2 spot on the list. This large school is located in El Paso, Texas, and it awarded 7 bachelors’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Baylor University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Engineering for a Bachelor’s list. Baylor University is located in Waco, Texas and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 8 bachelors’s engineering degrees to qualified students.

Baylor also made our “Best General Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Texas” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 876 of the 19,297 students enrolled at Baylor University were GI Bill® students, of which 593 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $17,744. In addition to receiving other benefits, 263 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
