You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Alabama at Birmingham. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Alabama for Engineering for a Master’s list. University of Alabama at Birmingham is a large school located in Birmingham, Alabama that handed out 143 masters’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UAB, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best General Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in Alabama” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,194 of the 22,563 students enrolled at UAB were GI Bill® students, of which 508 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $7,983. In addition to receiving other benefits, 15 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
