Across Florida, there were 2,254 mechanical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $65,602 and $22,649 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,787 mechanical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,395 and $25,950 respectively.

FIU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #6 on our “Best Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,079 of the 58,836 students enrolled at FIU were GI Bill® students, of which 606 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. University of North Florida did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for ME for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #10. UNF is a fairly large school located in Jacksonville, Florida that handed out 76 bachelors’s ME degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UNF, the school also landed the #10 spot in our “Best Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida” ranking.Among the 16,926 students enrolled at University of North Florida, 1,067 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. The University of West Florida did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Florida for ME for a Bachelor’s ranking, coming in at #11. UWF is a public institution located in Pensacola, Florida. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 55 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
