You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Carnegie Mellon University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Other Engineering for a Master’s list. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s other engineering degrees to 37 students in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our middle atlantic region master’s degree vets studying other engineering list, Carnegie Mellon has also earned the #1 rank in our “Best Other Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking.Of the 13,519 students enrolled at Carnegie Mellon, 117 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 72 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $18,422. During this same period, 36 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Other Engineering for a Master’s list. UMCP is located in College Park, Maryland and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 15 masters’s other engineering degrees to qualified students.

UMCP also made our “Best Other Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #2.Our most recent data shows that 16 of the 40,709 students enrolled at UMCP were GI Bill® students, of which 13 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $1,716. During this same period, 8 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. The school came in at #4 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Other Engineering for a Master’s. Clarkson University is a small school located in Potsdam, New York that handed out 14 masters’s other engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

Clarkson not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #4 on our “Best Other Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list.Of the 4,025 students enrolled at Clarkson, 67 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
