University of Colorado Boulder tops the 2021 list of our schools in Colorado that are best for non-traditional engineering students. CU - Boulder is a very large public school located in the city of Boulder. CU - Boulder also took the #2 spot in our Best Colleges for Engineering in Colorado rankings.

The student loan default rate at CU - Boulder is lower than is typical, just 3.2% of students default in three years. Approximately 2,234 students take at least one class online at CU - Boulder. 5,951 students are part time. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

Colorado State University - Fort Collins landed the #2 spot in our 2021 best engineering schools for non-traditional students. Located in the medium-sized city of Fort Collins, Colorado State is a public college with a very large student population. Colorado State did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our Best Colleges for Engineering in Colorado list.

The student loan default rate at Colorado State is lower than is typical, just 3.1% of students default in three years. Approximately 4,779 students take at least one class online at Colorado State. CU Anschutz is a very large public school located in the city of Denver. CU Anschutz also took the #5 spot in our Best Colleges for Engineering in Colorado rankings.

The student loan default rate at CU Anschutz is lower than is typical, just 3.0% of students default in three years. Approximately 4,923 students take at least one class online at CU Anschutz. 12,463 students are part time. Our rankings recognize University of Denver as the #4 school in this year's rankings. DU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Denver. As a testament to the quality of education offered at DU, the school also landed the #4 rank in our Best Colleges for Engineering in Colorado ranking.

The student loan default rate at DU is lower than is typical, just 1.8% of students default in three years. 1,604 of DU students are exclusively distance learners.
