Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Area, Ethnic, Culture, & Gender Studies for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #1 spot on the list. ASU - Tempe is a public institution located in Tempe, Arizona. The school has a large population, and it awarded 33 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

ASU - Tempe also took the #3 spot in our “Best Area, Ethnic, Culture, & Gender Studies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 7,566 of the 74,795 students enrolled at ASU - Tempe were GI Bill® students, of which 3,828 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,068. During this same period, 672 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Area, Ethnic, Culture, & Gender Studies for a Bachelor’s list. University of Arizona is a large school located in Tucson, Arizona that handed out 68 bachelors’s area, ethnic, culture, and gender studies degrees in 2020-2021.

The University of Texas at Austin is located in Austin, Texas and, has a large student population.
