Across the Southeast region, there were 859 general family and consumer sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,635 and $31,435 respectively.

Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Consumer Science for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Alabama landed the #1 spot on the list. Tuscaloosa, Alabama is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s consumer science degrees to 98 students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UA, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best General Family & Consumer Sciences Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Among the 37,840 students enrolled at UA, 2,081 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
