You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Maryland - College Park. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly for Iranian & Persian for a Bachelor’s list. Located in College Park, Maryland, this large public school awarded 4 degrees to qualified bachelors’s Iranian and Persian students in 2020-2021.

UMCP also took the #1 spot in our “Best Iranian & Persian Languages Bachelor’s Degree Schools” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 16 of the 40,709 students enrolled at UMCP were GI Bill® students, of which 13 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $1,716. During this same period, 8 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
