University of New Mexico - Main Campus tops the 2021 list of our schools in New Mexico that are best for non-traditional foreign languages and linguistics students. Located in the city of Albuquerque, UNM is a public college with a very large student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, UNM has also earned the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Foreign Languages & Linguistics in New Mexico ranking.

There are approximately 7,371 students at UNM that take at least one class online. 7,422 of UNM students are attending part time. UNM does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
