In 2020-2021, 322,592 nursing students received their degree, making the major the 3rd most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, nursing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $70,916 and had an average of $25,426 in loans still to pay off.
Across Colorado, there were 6,961 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $71,454 and $30,386 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 4,353 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,670 and $29,027 respectively.

The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Colorado for Nursing for a Bachelor’s. UCCS is a public institution located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 175 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.
