It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. Our “Best Value Pharmacy Schools in the Far Western US Region” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 20,393 people earned their degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences, making the major the 53rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $95,543 and had an average of $23,251 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 2,654 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $95,372 and $16,772 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Pharmacy Schools in the Far Western US Region” ranking, we looked at 19 colleges that offer a degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
