Out of the 5 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Music Therapy for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the #1 spot on the list. This large school is located in Tempe, Arizona, and it awarded 13 bachelors’s music therapy degrees in 2020-2021.

ASU - Tempe also made our “Best Music Therapy Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 7,566 of the 74,795 students enrolled at ASU - Tempe were GI Bill® students, of which 3,828 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,068. During this same period, 672 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of the Incarnate Word is a private not-for-profit institution located in San Antonio, Texas. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 8 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Dallas, Texas is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s music therapy degrees to 5 students in 2020-2021.

SMU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #3 on our “Best Music Therapy Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 327 of the 12,373 students enrolled at Southern Methodist University were GI Bill® students, of which 215 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,612. During this same period, 103 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools.
