The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Rehabilitation Science for a Bachelor’s. Located in Denton, Texas, this large public school awarded 70 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s rehabilitation science students in 2020-2021.

UNT also took the #2 spot in our “Best Rehabilitation Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Of the 40,953 students enrolled at UNT, 2,038 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,138 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,999. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of the Incarnate Word. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Rehabilitation Science for a Bachelor’s list. San Antonio, Texas is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s rehabilitation science degrees to 30 students in 2020-2021.

UIW did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our “Best Rehabilitation Science Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Our most recent data shows that 1,174 of the 7,917 students enrolled at UIW were GI Bill® students, of which 761 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,131. During this same period, 87 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
