At the associate degree level specifically, there were 2,502 history graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.

Out of the 6 schools in the Best Value History Schools for an Associate that were part of this year’s ranking, American Public University System landed the #1 spot on the list. American Public University System is a large school located in Charles Town, West Virginia that handed out 39 associates’s history degrees in 2019-2020.

American Military University not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best History Associate Degree Schools” list. The yearly cost to attend American Military University is $10,222 for associate degree history students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Utah Valley University. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value History Schools for an Associate list. Orem, Utah is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s history degrees to 21 students in 2019-2020.
