You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Arizona State University - Tempe. The school came in at #2 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Legal Research for a Master’s. This large school is located in Tempe, Arizona, and it awarded 58 masters’s legal research degrees in 2020-2021.

ASU - Tempe did well in our major quality rankings, too. University of Houston is a public institution located in Houston, Texas. The school has a large population, and it awarded 46 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.

University of Arizona did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Legal Research for a Master’s ranking, coming in at #6. Located in Tucson, Arizona, this large public school handed out 13 degrees to qualified masters’s legal research students in 2020-2021.

University of Arizona also made our “Best Legal Research Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #8.Among the 45,601 students enrolled at University of Arizona, 2,131 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 1,478 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,880. The University of Texas at Austin ranked #7 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Legal Research for a Master’s list. UT Austin is a large public school situated in Austin, Texas. It awarded 8 masters’s legal research degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southwest region master’s degree vets studying legal research list, UT Austin has also earned the # rank in our “Best Legal Research Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 7 of the 50,476 students enrolled at UT Austin were GI Bill® students, of which 1 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $2,893. To help with additional expenses, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. UT Austin does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Southern Methodist University did quite well in the 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Legal Research for a Master’s ranking, coming in at #8. SMU is located in Dallas, Texas and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 39 masters’s legal research degrees to qualified students.

SMU did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best Legal Research Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.According to our most recent data, Southern Methodist University supports 12,373 students, and 327 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 215 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $15,612. During this same period, 103 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

University of Tulsa not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #5 on our “Best Legal Research Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.According to our most recent data, University of Tulsa supports 3,960 students, and 119 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 62 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
