The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Individualized Studies for a Bachelor’s. Fairfax, Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s individualized studies degrees to 223 students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at GMU, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Individualized Studies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, George Mason University supports 38,541 students, and 2,334 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 1,583 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. NC State is a large school located in Raleigh, North Carolina that handed out 20 bachelors’s individualized studies degrees in 2020-2021.

It placed #1 on our “Best Individualized Studies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list.Among the 36,042 students enrolled at NC State, 1,102 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. This large school is located in Columbia, South Carolina, and it awarded 28 bachelors’s individualized studies degrees in 2020-2021.

UofSC also made our “Best Individualized Studies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #3.According to our most recent data, UofSC supports 35,470 students, and 1,609 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 651 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. This large school is located in Birmingham, Alabama, and it awarded 33 bachelors’s individualized studies degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southeast region bachelor’s degree vets studying individualized studies list, UAB has also earned the #7 rank in our “Best Individualized Studies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Among the 22,563 students enrolled at University of Alabama at Birmingham, 1,194 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 508 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $7,983. During this same period, 15 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Alabama at Birmingham offers credit for military training for eligible students.
